How do Family accounts get affected by switching to GP Ultimate?

With Live Gold, you have to select which Xbox console is the "Home" console so that other family members can play all the games and also play live multiplayer. Now with Ultimate, it adds access to PC and Android GPass in the subscription. So does that
mean that everyone listed in "family" can enjoy gaming on their PC, Android device, or other consoles in the home now? I am asking before I seriously consider going with the $1 for 3 months promo, or just upgrading in general to Ultimate. I have 3 Xboxes,
4 PCs and 6 Android devices in my home that can access the GamePass. Otherwise, if I have to still continue with just the "home" console for family access, there is no point in me upgrading if my kids cannot access the games in their room consoles or PCs.

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. When you upgrade to the Game Pass Ultimate (GPU), the holder of the subscription will be able to benefit from all features that come with it; However, for others home sharing their console, they will only
be able to access the games that come with the GPU on the console that is home shared by your account. They won't be able to use the Pc, and Mobile feature.

Adding him to the family just makes him eligible to give and receive points within the family. You can check if he has gamepass on his account of he opens up the gamepass app on his phone, it will say whether or not he has gp ultimate himself.

Hi, you can upgrade to Gamepass Ultimate if you have other subscription simply by purchasing one (or more) month of Gamepass Ultimate.

If this is the first time that you try GP Ultimate your active subscription will be added to the purchased months of GP Ultimate (ie. if you have 12 months of gold and you buy 1 months of GP Ultimate you will have
13 months of GP Ultimate)

if this is not the first time that you upgrade to Ultimate your active subscription will be combined with a fixed ratio (ie. if you have 12 months of gold and you buy 1 months of GP Ultimate you will have
5 months of GP Ultimate, since 12 months of gold correspond to 4 of GP Ultimate)

Thanks! How does it work exactly? I now have GP Console between 1st March and 31st March. What will I get when converting to GP Ultimate? Will I be asked to pay any money on top of that or just get (for example) 15 days of Ultimate from my remaining 28 days of Console?
