    How did Elite series 2 controller pass QC


    Seriously I am stuck with yet agin a 3rd elite series 2 controller that is incapable of being used wireless due to random disconnect errors not really a problem as I am able to play it wired. But the most annoying thing is and the reason why I am on my 3rd
    one is the silicon sleaves on hairline triggers just come off and can not be replaced easily if you are lucky to find them. the annoying thing is I have been extra careful with my 3rd controller for this problem and never adjusted the triggers since first
    used. This seems to be a very bad design as it has now happened 3 times on 3 different controllers. It annoys me because of the price you pay for this controller and you watch videos boasting about microsoft QC testing etc but who decided to put a slip on
    silicon case on a pointed 2 mm switch I am not an engineer but even I can see that being a flaw.

    FYI i love the controller when it does not disconnect or have pieces randomly fall of it.

    If you just got it, its under warranty. Don't give up and just deal with it. That won't help you or MS in the long run.

    I haven't bothered with the 2nd series but had the original elite and that had some issues also but overall was a great controller.

    I havent seen as much comments about the quality of the 2nd one so am hopeful it's better and they listened to some feedback.

    As for your issues as suggested if under warranty send it back.

    Also ensure you send feedback as this is the way they will know the exact issues and how frequent it occurs then they can look to see if it's a design issue, a build issue etc

    Well i had mine replaced through ms but with covid i haven’t gotten back and they have had it for two weeks.

    why are xbox one controllers so faulty and wear out fast and unreliable compared to other xbox controller generatioms

    The elite controller series one did have a few faults but did have a good repair back up system but the stronger one is the series 2.
