    How could Microsoft say no more Fable for financial reasons???


    Its pretty hard for me to believe the Fable games were running in the red financially, That's what Microsoft is claiming, and it just sounds suspicious! If anyone knows the real scuttlebutt on why Microsoft would trash such a great game series as well as
    a wonderful game company like Lions Head Studios, please respond.

    Who knows for sure, I bet Microsoft don't even know yet.

    For me if they get the price to match it's main rival but leave Kinect in then I'm happy.

    Unless Microsoft want to really undercut Sony by releasing a standalone Xbox One? By recent reports Sony is still having "major" financial difficulties so if Microsoft were to say release Xbox One ( without Kinect ) and undercut them say by £100, how would/could
    they respond.

    Again, no one knows for sure ( if they say otherwise, proof please ;-) ) my hunch still is it won't be dropped but I've been wrong before and will be wrong again.

    People like OP are the reason the Xbox One will not fail, and prove to Microsoft that they can push around customers even more. I wonder how far these people will really let themselves get abused by a company they financially support.

    We are being ripped off as usual and Microsoft has not learnt from their past!! Any plonker could tell you that if their x box 1 was cheaper it would sell more...so Sony will steal the show from them!! I used to be loyal to Sony then jumped to Microsoft
    purely for financial reasons now it looks like i am gonna be buying the Ps 4 for the same reasons ....what a pity, but needs must!!

    Unfortunately the financial institution reserves the right to deny credit to anyone without having to explain the reasons. Microsoft cannot change third-party financial institution policies. So far there is no news that there will be other companies interested in offering the service.

    not only lion head could have been save with right people in charge . i loved fable thats the main reason my wife bought my first xbox . i will not buy xbox 1 no fable legends and no fable 4 just sad all the way around sad tor people at lionhead said

    technically your wrong lion head doesn't exist but fable 1-3 is on xbox one so i believe its not based on 2k but whether Microsoft makes it happen or not i believe with a petition it might be possible Microsoft is a a whole lot more reasonable than Sony
    in a lot of ways.
    Lionhead was a developer, Microsoft is the publisher of the Fable games - which is the reason these games still exist on Xbox Store.
