    How could I change wich saved data is used when launching a game on PC gamepass version?


    So I launched ark this morning and before opening, the game asked wich synced data I wanted to use. I chose data from the cloud. This wasn't the right one, as I lost a day of progress. I wanted to know if it was possible to use the data from my device(computer) instead, to maybe keep my progress. This is weird, as I did some research and apparently it doesn't really matter wich one you choose.

    I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

    The way to force the game to load the saved data locally is to run it with the PC disconnected from the internet (only applies to non-online games), if doing this loads the same progress, it means that the local data has already been overwritten and unfortunately the previous progress can no longer be recovered.

    Also I forgot to say this but I quit the game normally yesterday, no crash, and I had saved. I did more searching and someone says cloud data saves after quitting a game normally. I don't know why the cloud would rollback to this far.

    Fallout76 on Gamepass wont load from my local version, it keeps loading the cloud version.

    No both on gamepass, its installed on my pc but when launching it uses the cloud version. At first i thought windows protected folders was not letting the gamepass app through and then it switching to the cloud version but ive added the exception and its still happen.
