How come when I click reset this box on my Xbox One S it doesn't do anything

This button is the sync button to synchronize your controller with the console.

Have you tried power cycling your Xbox? Follow these steps:

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or on your controller.

If this doesn't help, make sure your console is up to date:

Go to Settings > System > Updates. If you see Console update available, select it to update your console.

Yes, same here, got this error this morning when i booted up my Xbox S. Can´t do anything now. Looped

When I click [Try again] box it randomly changes the error codes to different numbers.

1. On the 360 dashboard, scroll over to the "System" tab.

2. On the System tab, click "Console Settings".

3. Scroll down in console settings and click "System Info".

4. When the system info box comes up type in this sequence:

LT RT X Y LB RB Y "Left Stick in" (press it in) Y Y

A box should come up and say, "Would you like to reset the console to the factory defaults?"

Click Reset and you're done!

If this doesn't work, and that's highly unlikely, call Microsoft at 1-800-4MY-XBOX (U.S.). Provide them with your registration info and they will tell you how to reset the console.
