How come I can join a party with a friend in Scotland but I cannot play any games with them...

I have Internet problems with certain friends I cant join their parties but i can rarely join but the only way I can play with them the host cannot be them

I know that I am testing the dashboard updates for Xbox One, I just hope these items are going to be updated with it.

Party system

I am currently in able to enter and join parties. Also cannot accept invites.

Party and games

I cannot play with my friends currently and or communicate with them through the party system. Playing with my friends is the MAIN reason I got a Xbox One. And when it is updated I hope if one of us is playing a game( i see that the option is there) that
we can send a invite and join that particular game and or lobby that our party/ friend is in.

Just a couple of things I wanted to touch on, I also thank you for allowing me to participate in the process of making the Xbox One the number 1 entertainment console. THANKS!!!

Yeah the only thing you can really do is block, report and mute the users bothering your son. If your son can't stop playing with the friend they somehow always get through, then set up a private party where only your sons friends can join.

Muting the players will be the best thing as they cannot talk to your son after this, even if they join the game, they'll be muted, but make sure to mute them by their profiles and not in the game, as muting them in game will only mute them in that specific
game, but muting by the profile, you will mute them in party's and any game.

I cannot join or start a party but I can send and receive messages and can still play multiplayer games anybody know how I could fix this?

Bu when i join a party i cant speak and in normal chat and i olso cant hear any thing

as its ddos then microsoft cant do anything about that as that happens outside their network and they cannot see that, get the isp to change your ip and make sure she does not join a party with her friend as he can join her friends party and gain your
IP each time. until her friend decides not to allow that person to join parties it would be best if your daughter does not join any parties with them, also report and block the gamertag associated with that person.
