How can we remove Genesis pack from ARK?

Downloaded Genesis for my son on XBox One worked at first, now he can’t spawn in stuff and it freezes often. We want to completely remove the Genesis pack. We have already tried resetting system it won’t come off.

How can we get it off????

Due not that uninstalling add-ons my impact the games save.

Is the Genesis pack an add on for the game, or an update to the game? If it's a game add-on then you should be able to remove it.

Go to "My Games and Apps", highlight ARK, and then press the menu button (the one with the three horizontal lines), scroll down to "Manage game & add-ons". If you see "Genesis pack" as an add-on within the "Installed" section, then scroll down to it, and
press the menu button on that pack, then click uninstall.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox support forums. Ark Genesis Part 2 is part of the Genesis season pass that you can purchase separately with Ark: Survival Evolved. At this time, the Ark: Survival Evolved Explorer's Edition which includes; the Survival Evolved Season Pass, Extinction, Aberration, Scorched Earth, and Survival Evolved Aberrant Skins is the current edition that is available on Game Pass.

Ark: Genesis Part 2 is part of the second expansion pack which is not currently available with Game Pass. However, Game Pass members may currently receive a discount on the ARK: Genesis Season Pass which would include Ark: Genesis Part 2.

We recently bought and installed ARK: Genesis Season Pass as well as Ark: Genesis part 1 but we are unable to play it. It says it is installed but it doesn't show up in my "Games". Or in my "All Owned Games." When I go to Manage Que, both games show up
under Recently Installed. When I click and open Ark: Genesis Part 1 from here (Que/Recently Installed) I get the "START" screen with the big A, but when I press START, I get to a screen that does not let me play the game. Anyone else have this problem? Can
you suggest a solution?

Hi Chicken,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend reaching out to Studio Wildcard on how to access the pet from the DLC. The Genesis season pass gives access to both genesis DLC which the first one is coming out on Feb. 25, 2020. Doesn't state in description
on how to obtain the pet, so guessing it would be in game somehow. Literally looked all over to try and find anything so would be best to go to Wildcard or Ark forums.
