    How can we fix the Xbox parties?


    Hello, my friend has had some problems with the Xbox parties, every time there are more than 2 people in his Xbox party it removes him is there a way we can fix that?

    Hi Lincoln!

    What exactly is his Xbox console model?

    Please check the statistics for his network:
    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > General.
    Select Network settings > Test network speed & statistics.

    Check if everything is good especially the NAT type - this must be "Open".

    To further isolate the issue, he could also try to switch to a different network connection.

    To also refresh his account, we could re-add his account.

    Note: Before doing these steps, please make sure that he knows exactly the email address that's linked to his gamertag and the password to it so he can add the correct account again.

    1. Remove account:
    Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. When you're finished, select Close.

    2. Power cycle:
    Press and hold Xbox's power button for 10 sec. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

    3. Add account:
    Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

    Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.

    Party Chat Issue

    Has anyone experience this and know how to fix this party chat issue?

    I am currently trying to connect to my friend's online party chat. We are able to connect but then not able to hear each other.Here is what we see, we are not muted as we can see each other's picture and the option for mute is not "Unmute", connection to
    the party chat is not the issue as we can connect. I have tried shutting down the xbox, unplugging it, waiting, then plugging it back in and still the issue is there. (3/20/2020)
    Try. Redoing your Nat setting I just did and it working for party chat

    Yup! Seeing the same thing. Looks like game lobby chat works IF youre not in a party.

    Glad it's not just me. Thanks Killerradish, most of the party ups we try to do are as soon as we get on so nothing is running. It's a surprise it doesn't work considering how much it's used amongst all players, hopefully XBox fixes it soon or can post some
    info about it.
