    How can the results of a drawing be selected when it falls after the date of the convention?


    I submitted thousands of points to enter the drawing for the blizzcon giveaway, the cut off for submission was Sept 15th and said the selection would be made on the 1st of October.

    The post says results are pending and to come back on 11/16 for results. How can you draw winners for a convention after it happens? The contest says 2023 Blizzcon and for those that have looked, the convention happens Nov 3rd and 4th of 2023.

    Would love some input if something has changed.

    Winners would be chosen before Blizzcon, on October 1. They contact winners within a week of the drawing. So all winners would be notified ahead of Blizzcon. A winners list is what is posted in November. Winner's lists are not how they notify winners.

    I'm not sure which sweepstakes you're referring to, but if you can pull it up, check the official rules for when the drawing is. They notify winners approximately a week or so after the drawing and the drawing can take place weeks after the sweepstakes ends. They don't post a winner's list until all winners have been notified and verified so a list is usually not available until about a month after the drawing.

    When you click a sweepstakes to redeem tickets for it, before you redeem the tickets you can scroll down through the information for the sweepstakes and it gives the end date and a link to the official rules which states when the drawing will take place for that sweepstakes. Winners are typically notified within 1 week of the drawing.

    Just wondering about the current sweepstakes draw for the xbox sires s, says on the website the draw will end on the 30/6/23, but has been a few days since then and hasn't updated?

    Oh, I see. So this is through Microsoft rewards. I believe they have a set date for the announcement on the winners for this. But the draw has already ended. I would suggest just to wait for an update for the announcement on the winners as it will just be updated in time. Most of the time they will announce winners within 7 days after the last draw date.
