So how can Microsoft stop you from playing a video game when you purchase it like one game called medieval dynasty says it's only available on cloud gaming even though you can purchase the game for $40 and for you to only play cloud gaming is to have the ultimate subscription so how can they legally sell you a $40 game and then say for you to play this game you have to buy our ultimate subscription to be able to play it?

    :)

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    Good evening

The Medieval dynasty game is only for windows and xbox series S/X, if you have one of these devices you can buy it and install it normally.

It is upto you to read the system requirments

If you don't meet the system requirments you dont have the system to run it

Buying a game does not guarantee you playability

That ia upto the user to ensure you meet those requirements

If you dont meet the requirements you can only run it on cloud which requires the membership NOT ownership of the game

They aren't stopping you from playing the game at all

If you don't own a system that can run it you don't buy it

If you do ita on you

Cloud DOESNT transfer ownership or accept owned games

You are paying for the service to run the games thata all

If you stop paying for the service you can't play games on servers that run the game for you

You must buy your own system that meet the requirements to play OWNED games

Cloud isn't a reqlacement for system.requirements you are renting a system with your subscription to.run the game for you

Whether a video is legal or not isn't the issue but rather that not all media formats are supported by the xbox. If you have a video you'd like to play (legally downloaded of course) all you can do is try it and if it plays great if not you'll need to do
some video converting research and teach yourself how to convert video files. You can search the web for a program called G-spot (yea I know weird name) which will tell you all the codecs in your file, video and audio and go from there. There are some really
easy one step programs out there that work great for converting.

The futuer of gaming is discless. Unlike some women in this topic. I will never give up gaming. Video games didn't stop my grandparent from playing board games. Why stop playing video games because a formate. You should do what you like do. And not do it
    how it works.

Why can’t I stream the dead or alive six story on on twitch? Every time I try to stream the story mode, my stream automatically pauses and won’t unpause, even if I am out of cut scenes

Broadcasting games it's not a right, and the developer can stop you from doing so

You know how they always say that you can't re-broadcast a baseball game without the permission of major league baseball? Well the game publisher has the legal right to stop you from broadcasting their copyrighted material to others, just as music, movies and everything else
