how can i verify my account is mine with mssing information?

i was booted out of my account due too "suspicious activity" i have the email and password too the account but whenever i try too sign back in it trys to get me to verify but due too my account being quite old most of the data (things like bank details and phone numbers) have changed or i simply cant remember them and it wont give me the option too just verify through email how can i get back in and prove its ny account

Hi Kieran! Sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Just to set your expectation, due to our account safety and security, only us the account owners have the ability to recover our accounts and verify their ownership. Even a Microsoft Support cannot recover our accounts on our behalf because they're protected by the security information we have setup on our accounts which we only have access to.

My advise here is for you to try to submit the account recovery form again using the device you frequently used before. Provide the information being asked as accurate as possible. Please visit the link below for more tips about the recovery form.

It just tells me unfortunately it can’t verify the account is mine. I enter all MY information i’m not sure if it’s actually my friends information i’m supposed to put in tho. I really need this account back

The problem with this is since your friend is the one who actually created the account then the account technically belongs to them. Not you. At least thats how Microsoft would see it.

That being said yes. It would be looking for info your friend would've used when creating the account.

I just got a reply on the recovery form. They said they're unable to verify my account and they've locked it again. How are they unable to verify it? I literally gave them my debit card number, where I originally made the account, and my gamer tag. How is that not enough information?
