    How can I Unlink Microsoft Account from PlayStation account?


    I recently got Minecraft on the ps5 and began to login as I already had a Microsoft account. When I was logging in I accidentally pressed cancel which made it glitch. Now when I try to log in it says that my account has already been connected to another PlayStation account. I have never logged into my Microsoft account on another PlayStation before and I would like to know how I could disconnect from this “account” that it is supposedly connected to and reconnect it to my account.

    Hi,

    Try unlinking your Microsoft account from PlayStation (if possible because I don't use it). you can also unlink 3rd party apps/sites (such as PlayStation) from your Microsoft account from here:

    I need to unlink my PlayStation Network account from my old Microsoft account which I don’t remember, & link it to a new Microsoft account to play Minecraft
    You can unlink the psn account however you CANT link a different one.

    Note: Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account. 

    If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be re-linked to the original account.
