How can i uninstall minecraft from my windows computer?

You can simply follow the steps below to uninstall the game:

Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search the game > Uninstall.

You can also request a refund by signing in to http://xbox.com/refunds.

So, this is how I solved this problem...

1. Uninstalled Xbox (through Power Shell), and restarted my computer.

2. Downloaded Xbox (from the Windows Store), installed Xbox, and restarted my computer.

3. Uninstalled Adera (right click on the app and select Uninstall), and restarted my computer.

4. Downloaded Adera (from the Windows Store)

5. The first time opening Adera, through the app, I clicked on Buy the Collectors Edition.

Viola!!!

Please delete again the .minecraft folder, uninstall all things related to Minecraft and perform an in-place upgrade for your computer following tutorial below:
