How can I stop BO2 from freezing in online multiplayer?!!

To kick things off, I’m on Xbox Series S, and my game freezes like PS3 did over the name changes freeze. However, it freezes in two spots and only when online. Create a class, and Team deathmatch on any map. I have isolated my problem to being the game itself and becomes I’m on series s and it’s digital, uninstalling and reinstalling just doesn’t work. I have cleared the cache to my game and Xbox and deleted and recovered my profile and still have the problem. Is there any way I could receive 1, detailed guidance on how to troubleshoot this problem? Or 2 a new digital copy of the game, Or 3 a refund for a product I can’t play? Please help, this is very frustrating.

It only happens in multiplayer after I connect to the online service. Local multiplayer works fine, and so does the rest of the game. I do play other games like MW3, GTAO, and Halo, but they do not freeze like BO2.

If this is an issue with the game itself, just refunding and repurchasing will not help, I'm afraid. This happens only with multiplayer? Do you play other multiplayer games?

Yes sir, it’s definitely on the server side. Any idea why it targets me? I’ve noticed that my friend can play the game fine on their xbox using the same wifi. It’s also probably worth mentioning that a day before the issue began, I ran into a hacker who was hellbent on crashing my game via joining my game session in progress and proceeding to DDOS me. Could it be the work of them, and if so, isn’t that illegal?

All is good from my NAT type, but it didn’t solve it. Unfortunately I even downloaded the game to my old 360 about an hour ago and got the same issue.
