    How can I resolve this issue with my Xbox one?


    I’ve had my Xbox one (original) for almost seven years now. And for a console that old, it’s been running pretty good, so good that I’ve only had to replace the power brick once. however lately my Xbox hasn’t been turning on. The start up chime/tune has a “cracking” sound and the light on the new power brick is red causing the Xbox to not turn on. I have cleaned out the dust and dirt from both the Xbox and the power brick (especially the fans) but the issue is still there. What can I do to fix this?

    Have you tried testing out new power supply?

    When an indicator light from the power supply turns red, that normally tells us there is an issue with the power supply.

    I would suggest testing out another power supply just to really isolate the problem where it is coming from. If it is from the console or just the power supply but in your case, I can tell this is a power supply problem.

    How do I resolve this issue?

    The game was purchased in the XBox Store from XBox online. This bundle included the game and many different downloadable car packs. In game, they appeared in my message center. When I try to accept the cars, it says my settings won't allow them to be downloaded.

    I found a video last night detailing how to reset the XBox to factory settings, but I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hopeful that this will work.

    I feel like I wasted money on this purchase, as I'm being denied what I paid for.

    Try logging out of your account and logging back in to see if that fixes it. You can also try redeeming through other devices such as the Xbox mobile or desktop app. Try restarting the console as well.
