    How can I resolve this issue when streaming in a Xbox party


    When I'm streaming via twitch , thru lightstream, I'm having distorted audio, not from me but people who are in the Xbox party chat they sound fine when I am chatting with them but the stream did turn out the way I wanted and I can't use those clips because it was so bad

    Also I want to know when I will be able to use discord voice chat during my streams aswell?

    Lag if using party feature

    Hi,

    There are several reasons why you are experiencing issues with Streaming on Xbox Live while using the Party Chat. It may be due to a possible connection error or the environment where your device is located.

    To better assist you with your concern, please clarify the following information:

    • On which device are you streaming while using the Party Chat?
    • Does the issue occur when you are streaming without the Party Chat enabled?
    • How do you connect your device to the network?
    • How many devices are connected to your network hardware?


    I am streaming on my laptop while using the chat.

    No it does not occur when I'm not using party chat.

    With wifi on a 5ghz 802.11ac network.(don't have access to ethernet)

    Around 7 devices are connected to the hardware, but my laptop is the only device on the 5ghz band.

    link     to the streaming performance of the Xbox app on Windows 10.

    We also recommend that you disconnect all the devices connected to your network hardware and restart your router to refresh the connection. Connect your computer and your Xbox first, then test if it resolves the issue.

    Can't connect to xbox party from the companion

    this is NOT resolved, playing fifa last night with friends, i stream, so running party chat through the PC. i COULD NOT connect to party chat at all. yet, had no server issues with xbox or fifa.

    I myself have had this same issue. If all parties were in an xbox live party the stream would be able to hear them. The other options to allow it is that some people use an el gato or discord while streaming. It is a frustrating experience that hopefully
    will be resolved better one day.
