    How can I remove the trial bar over a game I own?


    My problem is with Xenoverse 2, I’ve owned it on a disc since 2016, but one day when I was looking around in the store, I hit play trial on its page by accident, and it immediately downloaded the trial version, but nothing happened to my actual game. Now I’m still able to play my game just fine, it’s not only letting me play the trial or anything, but there’s always this ugly “Trial” text over the game in my games and apps. I’ve tried deleting it, signing out, installing it offline using the disc etc, but immediately when I go back online it adds back on the trial license, and as far as I know there’s no way to remove it from my account. Any help on removing it would be appreciated.

    There a ton of threads with similar request however the trial's license itself cannot be removed from your account, but it can be uninstalled and the game can then be installed through the disc.

    How can you tell if you own a game that's currently on gamepass or just a trial?

    So in the Xbox store it says that I OWN the game, but I actually only own the trial version. If the game is on gamepass, the option is "installable" meaning I don't own it. It's installable because it's on gamepass, but if the game offers a trial and I've downloaded that trial, the store says I OWN the game. This has caused me to purchase DLC for a game I only own the trial for. I need to know how to tell if a game I have is only the trial version of the full game.

    I find it impossible to believe XBL doesn't have the ability to remove a specific game. How can they have less control over their own profiles than modders?
