How can I remove the new Microsoft Store shortcuts and "Groups" (Greed Boxes) from my home...

Sorry to give you bad news, but it is not possible to remove or edit any groups after the update from Marketing Hell (The Addate (an update for ads)). In other words, we must choose to either swallow 70+ adds on our home screen (which is now essentially the Store app) and loss of all but 2 groups, or switch to another console or PC. I will not be purchasing a single thing on the console until this update is reverted.

If not reverted soon, I will sell the system and switch to a PS5. Problem solved for me. At least they do not choke their users with a glut of unwanted ads.

I don't believe what you are trying to do is actually a possible shortcut. When updating your credit card information in your account settings you need to use the thumbstick to move from box to box when the cursor is highlighting the entire text box you
are editing. RB and LB only moves the cursor within the text box between characters and does not move from box to box like the Tab key on a keyboard.

RB and LB is a shortcut to go from tab to tab on most apps or games but not the settings. The Microsoft Store is technically an app on the Xbox One and has this feature to go between tabs in the store quickly.

There's one more way to customize a major aspect of your Xbox Series X/S, when you add a game to Home, you can access it easily and review related content including community activity feed posts and how you rank against your friends.

Note: You can add up to 10 games to Home.

To add a game to Home:

1. Highlight a game from the Microsoft Store, my games & apps, or a game that's displayed somewhere on your home screen.
   
2. Press the Menu button, and then select Add to Home.
   

There are two ways you can remove a game tile from your home screen:

• Highlight the game, press the Menu button, and then select Remove from home.
  
• Go to where the game appears on your home screen, and then select the Edit icon. You can highlight the game from the list, and then press the X button to remove it.
  

On the other hand, you can group your games and apps to quickly access them from My games & apps or your home screen. To learn more about creating and managing groups, visit: Group your games and apps on your Xbox console

To add a group to home:

1. Press Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games & apps.
   
2. Select Group, and then highlight the name of one of your existing groups.
   
3. Press the Menu button, and then select add to home.
   

Review the info in "reorder tiles or groups" for more details about the placement of groups on the home screen.

Your groups will appear above your pinned games on Home. To reorder how your groups appear on the home screen, add the groups to your home screen in reverse order. For example, if you'd like for a group to appear at the top, make sure to add it to home last.

Note: Managing the order of your groups from within My games & apps will not affect how they appear on the home screen.

After you've added games to home, you can reorder how they appear. To do so:

1. Go to where the game appears on your home screen, and then select the edit icon.
   
2. Highlight the game that you want to move from the list, and then press the A button.
   
3. Use the Direction pad (D-pad) to change the position of the selected game.
   
4. Press the A button again to confirm the move.

Mine was on a home group, but I removed it from the home group thinking that was part of the issue, still no joy. I have been able to use my android without any issue. My windows 8.1 tablet can connect to any other device on my network as it should. You
would think that a windows device wouldn't have any issue connecting to a Microsoft xbox but I guess that is what I get for thinking.

Might anyone know how it is possible to remove (Detatch) my Xbox 360 Live account (which was never paid for) from my microsoft account? Oh, and I am prevented and cannot choose to click or open the green boxes labeled "account" or "privacy" from my xbox
360 dashboard, and how can I move my primary Email address that I use for everything which IS my microsoft account to a new "free" generated xbox gamer profile: ""Q1: How do I remove my xbox profile from my microsoft account which is my primary email?"" ""Q2:
