how can i remove the email from my device and get a new password ?? and there is any phone...

i know my password, but i cannot even add points to my account from my pc. it seems to be still sending verification codes to my old phone which i do not have anymore. I need to verify my new phone and alternate email. how do i get my old phone removed?

I have not requested to remove or add any info since my account was stolen

It was hacked into and i was locked out as they removed my email and phone number from the account

I recieve an error regarding my current password is invalid and rerouted to send an email to the email that took the account

I do not have any notifications telling me how long i have left which is the reason why i am frustrated, i do NOT get a sign in message with that text, i only get it when trying to manually change the info myself after recovering the password.

If you're getting failed logins across multiple Microsoft accounts, even after changing passwords, here’s how to fully secure them:

1. Reset passwords again — use strong, unique ones:

Go to https://account.live.com/password/reset for each account

Don’t reuse any passwords or slight variations

Make sure recovery emails and phones are correct: https://account.live.com/proofs/manage

2. Turn on Two-Step Verification (2FA):

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/security

Enable Two-Step Verification on all accounts

If you can, use different 2FA apps or devices per account

3. Check for suspicious devices:

Visit https://account.microsoft.com/devices

Look for any devices you don’t recognize

Select any you don’t own and remove them from your account

4. Remove old sign-in options:

I am having the same problem. I also cannot remove duplicate devices from my device list within my account. I am getting very frustrated, I cannot get any help from M$ and their damned support options keep forcing me to a I can't change my password page which forces a non-contact request via phone or chat.
