If you linked this deleted gmail account (that was your Microsoft account) to your PSN account, it cannot be unlinked.

If you recover this gmail account you can actually unlink it from your PSN account, but once you link a Microsoft account to a PSN account, you cannot link any other Microsoft account to it. Only the original one can be linked again.

The problem with my minecraft account now is that when I migrated it I used my own gmail account but when I bought my minecraft account I used my dad's gmail account to buy it. I saw on youtube that you had to use the same gmail account as when you bought minecraft to link your minecraft account to a microsoft account. But I didn't do that I used my own instead of my dad's. So basically what Im trying to say is how do i change my microsoft account that i linked to my minecraft account?

When did you last successfully sign in to your Microsoft account?

If you have not logged into your account for more than two years and it has been closed due to inactivity, you will not be able to use the Account Recovery Form to recover your account.

Did you have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account? If you do have the 2FA active, are you able to access the second factor of authentication?

Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that you are the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time-consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. so the issue is they changed the email used to sign into the account as well, microsoft still shows it linked to his gmail when i use the "i dont know my username" feature, but it tells me his gmail is linked to an unknown email
