How can I recover my hacked minecraft account?

Recently I lost my minecraft account. I thought that what had happened is that somehow the microsoft email that was linked to the minecraft account had in way been deleted or forgotten, so I reached out to both mojang and microsoft asking if it was possible for me to recover the account which used to be connected to the microsoft email. Both told me it wasn't possible due to the lack of information about the account which I could provide. I now found out that the reason why microsoft was telling me the account didn't exist when I tried logging in was actually because it's been hacked and is now being used by someone else on another email. I'd like to know if there's a way for me to recover the account and place it back on my microsoft account.

Will I be able to recover anything that was purchased that was in a hacked account? A minecraft purcahse for example.

If you can recover the hacked account, then yes. Otherwise no since everything is tied to the account that originally purchased it and nothing is transferable between accounts.

It is not possible now and as far as I'm aware, it never was. If there was a possibility of recovering it, I would have already told you in my initial response. I'm sorry John but there is nothing that can be done at this point.

When an account gets hacked, you must as quick as possible to increase your chances of recovering it.

I'm sorry you're having this issue, as I understand your concerns about the privacy of your account and how annoying not being able to access it can be. Situations where our email account with personal information, contacts, messages and even our documents are really involved are a little more delicate.

When the hacker manages to change the password, and the account alias, it is because he also has access to security information, as well as, cell phone, alternative email that you yourself registered in your account.

Unfortunately, when the hacker manages to change the account's security information, the account is hardly recoverable. That's why it's very important to keep your security info up to date and use different passwords across all platforms.

Even if you create the account with the same domain as before, you will not be able to view your games, subscriptions and emails, as it is a new account.

I'm a user like you and there's not much I can do in the community as visibility is public. Contact MSA Support and see if you can follow the Account Takeover (ATO), investigation is done on a case-by-case basis.
