    I have filled out that form asking which account I want to recover, asks for birthday and some old passcodes you’ve used before but it seems as if that automated feature does not work at all because no one has gotten back to me in two weeks. It states that because of two step, it ignores the forms I’m filling out anyways. I’ve also been speaking to one of the support members who has been trying to help me but we just need to get in touch with a “Microsoft Account Team Member,” for higher investigation. This has been my account for over 11+ years and I just simply want to recover it. If there was someone to investigate, they would see a lot of things that I could provide to show that the account truly is mine. Such as IP of where account was created and the IP I’m at. My Xbox network device ID that would show the Xbox I’ve been playing on for the past years. Also just any of the questions or informations that are also being asked. If you guys have any solutions for me please let me know! I just really want my account back.

    Hi KyeVae,

    Welcome to the Xbox Community. You mentioned that you have access to your account but all you can do is sign in.

    To add another form of authentication follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to Microsoft.com

    2. Select user profile on top right of screen > My Microsoft Account

    3. Scroll down to Security > click drop down > Security dashboard

    4. Select Advanced security options

    5. Select Add a new way to sign in or verify

    When I attempted to add a new phone it did not require for me to use another method of authentication. This is the same location to remove all other forms of authentication on the account, select the email or phone used and select "Remove."

    The top of the page allows for a password change as well, and two-step verification can be turned on for additional security.

    Know what you are going though. Going through same thing right now just a bit ahead of you. First if you got one of those 30 day notice that it's says for them to give you full access back cancel it. How did this was by going through the activity log, and claim a log in that was mine wasn't. Then when I got to the notice once you see the notice cancel. Then it should ask if you want to cancel the inquiry into you account. Depending on what you had to do to get maybe a couple things you won't be able to do. But should be most

    Tell them what your gametag was. They will ask any other questions they need to know. I am pretty sure the old tag would be enough for them to start a case on this. Let me just ask it this way. Is it better to at least try and maybe fail then not to call
    at all and let them get away with it??
