How can i recover an old XBOX gamer account

Heres the circumstances:

I have approx £40-50 in vouchers assigned to this other account so really want to recover it to buy a game to gift to my current and active account.

I remember the old email i used to sign up with the old account, I also remember the gamer tag but cannot remember the password for it so cannot use it for recovery.

I don't remember/know the answer to the secret question it asks for on the Microsoft recovery form for the Microsoft account.

I've tried multiple attempts to used the recovery form, however, I was 12 when the account was created for me by my uncle and he can't remember the details he used, but have a good idea.

There doesn't seem to be a phone number i can just call support on to answer questions to try and recover the account, despite using the device ID for the only xbox the account was ever used on.

Can anyone help, much appreciate any advice and options available to me?

If you remember the login information for your old account, you can recover it to the new Xbox. Instructions on recovering accounts can be found here -

account recovery form. Support will also send you to the recovery form. You can fill out the form as many times as needed.

Logging in to the email could be a great way for you to get back into it if you have not

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to attend to this appropriately. I can relate to how disheartening this kind of thing could be. Unfortunately, if you're unable to gain access through the ASCR form explained in your post, the only
thing you can do is continue trying until it allows you access or start a new account. Customer service has no tools to recover an account in instances like this.
