How can I play The Outer Worlds entirely offline?

The previous thread was locked due to the fact that it was old. We prefer that users create their own threads describing their issue vs adding on to a 2 month old thread. Please to not call out other users or staff on these forums.

The saves in outer world’s appear to be linked to microsoft cloud saves and
it wont recognize local saves offline. This is not a issue with our computers or our software, it is a widely recognized problem for anyone on PC trying to play the game offline. There likely needs to be an update or hotfix for
this specific game.

Let me ask honestly: Do you really want 73 individual people (and counting) to open up their own separate threads on a subject less than 2 months old? Or does it have more to do with how much negative sentiment there is in the discussion and the fact that
the thread itself has been viewed more than 2,000 times?

If support could apply focus on chasing this issue down with Games Pass and or Obsidian rather than locking threads, the sentiment of the discussion could easily be changed.

Only with Outer Worlds every other game works fine, I can download and play.

So basically as long as you transfer your latest save to this other folder you should be able to load a save in offline mode? This is all their fault for not fixing this as we figured it out before they did, but that does sound like a work around. Thanks
