How can i play minecraft with friends on xbox 360?

I can confirm you will be able to play online on Xbox 360 by redeeming a Game Pass Core code. For your reference, the following text has been quoted from the official Xbox Game Pass Core FAQ page:

"Xbox 360 users will continue to see Xbox Live Gold on their Xbox 360 consoles, and any new Game Pass Core purchases online will appear and function under Xbox Live Gold on Xbox 360 consoles. Online console multiplayer benefits will be supported on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles."

I'm glad I was able to clear any doubts regarding Game Pass Core on Xbox 360 consoles.

As for the game itself, am afraid it is as SwordofWhedon mentioned. You and your friends would need to be on the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft to play together.

Tbh that's why when you asked me if you wanted to be my friend I requested that you be on my 360 list. You can't join a Minecraft Xbox 360 world without being friends with a player *on the Xbox 360 system*.

Saturday 2 August 10:22 pm here. I'm on my Xbox 1 and no Minecraft. I'll play some Minecraft multiplayer with friends tomorrow have the whole day free and hope there are no hiccups with being able to play with my friends. Last Sunday the only thing I could
play with friends until 3pm was COD BO2. Me and some of my friends got bored of playing the same thing. However I never get bored of playing Minecraft.
