    How can I play Crash Time 4 - The Syndicate in 2020 without GfWL?


    Hello,

    a couple of days ago, I bought Crash Time 4 - The Sydicate because I played it a couple of years ago on my Xbox 360.

    I bought it on Amazon because I want to play it again.

    After I installed the game and tried to start it, nothing happened.

    On the internet I found this link to fix the problem: https://www.eleven-games.net/index.php?site=faq&action=faqcat&faqcatID=6 (It is
    in German)

    I tried to reinstall the GfWL Client, but it was not installed due to a connection failure.

    I know that Microsoft shut down the Games for Windows Live services but is there a way to get the game without GfWL working?

    I think the client and the marketplace are part of the same program? I'm not sure. I don't have any GFWL enabled games anymore. If there isn't a client/marketplace on the game disc then I'm not sure how you would go about installing
    it now.

    Some games just demand the GFWL client and won't run with out it.

    There're aren't many PC gamer's in these forums - I'm one of a very small group - your best bet would be try another forum, more for PC games.

    I suggest you try either the Steam Forums, or some other PC tech forum. Linus
    Tech tips     (a popular PC YouTube channel) has a very active forum.

    I know the LTT forum and I am there very often.

    Yesterday I build an old PC and installed Windows 7 on it to try the game.

    And it is working there without problems.

    So I think that Windows 10 is the problem because GfWL isn't supported there.

    Is this your error? Because that's what it says for me too. Microsoft might just have totally closed the service down now. I'm not certain though. But it's not your end.
