How can i play a sony CD-R on my xbox series x?

I understand you need help playing your CD-R to your console.

You may try to check if this is playable on the CDR app from the Xbox.

Just search for the app on the Xbox store or you may try downloading it here:

Once done, try opening the app and try your CD to see if it can be played.

To use a photo Cd it has to be a photo CD did you make one?

it only happens to the Xbox X series + Samsung TV. I have Xbox one and a sony TV as well. I tried Xbox X series + Sony TV and Xbox one + Samsung TV. both work...

Because on my Xbox series x, it only shows 'Optimized for series x/s' but if a xbox series x version of a game is NOT 'optimized' how would i know if I'm playing a series x/s version of a game?

Yes, you can play DVD-R discs on your console, and you shouldn't be banned for doing it.
