How can I make a new Microsoft account with my email

Did you also remove your main email from the Microsoft account before adding it to the current one you have now? Because as far as the system goes, it will not let you add that as primary email on another accounts if it is still a primary email on another Microsoft account.

Well she told me to just make a new xbox live account. Can I make a new xbox live account with my current microsoft email without making a new email?

I can make a new microsoft account with the same email but will that make it impossible to recover my minecraft account?

I don't think I explained myself very well in my last post. I am actually suggesting that my son keeps the Microsoft account and the Xbox live subscription, gamer points etc. What if he adds a new email address to this account, then makes it the primary
email, then removes the original email address (mine). Is this possible?

Yes you can do that. You can only add an email that is not Outlook, Hotmail nor Live mail.

You can do this and make a new microsoft account with that email if the email is not Outlook, Hotmail nor Live mail. Otherwise you will need to create a new email and new microsoft account.

Thanks for posting here on the Xbox forums. In order to change the email to your Microsoft account, you would first have to add an alias (Email). After adding the new alias, you can make it the primary email. Once you have the new primary email, you can
remove the old one from your account.
