How can i have Gamepass Ultimate without having access to Gold games?

With regards to this issue, I do see some users reporting this as well like what the support previously told you and it seems to be occuring to those who upgraded from Xbox Live Gold to the Game Pass Ultimate.

If you have contacted the Xbox support team themselves they should have provided you a case number for the contact specially if they have told that it is already being investigated.

My apologies as we are just fellow members here in the community so we don't have means of checking accounts nor details about a ticket number. But if its an Xbox gamer you have contacted with, there might not be a case number for your previous contact yet. But you may try reporting it again to the Xbox team directly via this page https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

On the page, click on "Contact us" > Subscriptions & billing > I can't redeem a code > Type in "Support" then there you should see option to message or request a callback from the Xbox team. The option I provided here is diferent, this is just a way to easily find the option to reach the Xbox support.

In the meantime, if you can play online games without problem meaning your subscription is working so you shouldn't worry if you have reported it to the Xbox team. You may also check the Xbox live status page https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status if ever they release an update or outage for the issue.

You won't have Gamepass.

Gamepass is a subscription that provides access to a library of games that can be played without purchasing them. Similar to Netflix.

While "Gamepass Ultimate" provided access to that same library and also gives access to Xbox Gold and EA Play.

Ea Play is also like gamepass that offers their own game library that can be accessed while the Subscription is active.

With Gamepass Ultimate, you'll have Gold, Gamepass, and Ea Play all in one Subscription.

However, what you purchased (Xbox Live) is Xbox Gold. This is a subscription that provides access to online gaming.

It is not Gamepass so if you are looking for an active Gamepass after redeeming that 12-month Subscription, Gamepass will not show but Xbox Live or Xbox Gold should show.

What exactly are you having an issue with. Rephrase your question or concern I am thinking you mean that you cant play the games without xbox live. You can play games without live its just you cant get updates for those games and you cant play online without
xbox live. Just try to purchase a gold or ultimate subscription and you should be fine. Best option with the best features would be to purchase ultimate game pass since you get gold and gamepass bundled for 14.99..... However you could just get gold but the
better option is ultimate. It;s worth it believe me. Ultimate game pass gives you the option to try games you might not have wanted to pay for and there yours long as you have gamepass. You don't always have to buy certain games. Sometimes you get exclusive
games they offer for example gears of war was on gamepass at launch which was a great deal. There are so many great games in gamepass. Just as gold you get games but you gain so much more in ultimate or gamepass. Hopefully I understood your question to a certain
degree.If you bought a ton of games you possibly can afford gold or ultimate. There are deals for ultimate all the time. But after reading responses since IU was the first to respond I;m under the assumption that possibly its just a profile issue and you
have these services you are just having difficulty in accessing these games online. I was not assuming that you had gold or ultimate. Do you????
