How can i get rid of the suffix of a unique user name

Keep in mind the system doesn't see things like spaces as making a gamertag unique. Someone else has the same tag with spaces, so you won't be able to use it without a suffix.

I made this name myself so there is no possibility someone could have it. i checked the search bar but nothing appeared but when I try to change it this message showed up

Someone does have it already. I was able to find who. As Smwutches states the system doesn't see things like spaces as making a gamertag unique.

So "XdaBlackman"would be seen to the system the same as Xda Blackman" for instance.

This is how Microsoft is handling gamertag now. They're doing stuff where multiple people can have the same name, but they append a numerical suffix to the end of the name to ensure uniqueness.

I figured these would be the types of responses I'd get.

The problem is they've changed the constraints you what you can use for a gamertag.

When I used my free change, I couldn't make it what I wanted, after the changes I can now make it how I wanted, but I'd have to pay to do it.

That's my issue more than anything.

Huh you mean the suffixes ? What did you expect if you want no suffixes come up with a unique name or change the spelljng so it would.be truely unique
