    How can I get my xbox one to scan for wifi it did n now it doesn't


    I'm not wired with ethernet cable n won't scan for any wifi networks plz help me with this

    First off, do you have a router? Secondly how far away from your router is the console?

    When you gobto network settings do you click onnect online? Once you do that it will bring down a list of available wifi networks

    If not you might need a new wifi adapter for your console

    hate to bump an old thread, but i'm having the same issue. i'm also in IT. i'm on wifi and my laptop and xbxo are right next to each other. my Xbox is programmed in my router with no firewall and public IP. its set to 1 channel (11) and 1 mode (g) so it
    doesn't scan. my laptop gets 17 down and 5 up whiel my xbox is about 1.5 down and up. i just got a new (refurbished) xbox not to long ago. and i thought my old wifi adapter (white one) was dying so i got a new black one and still having the issue.

    I would like to know if anyone has a solution. also i ordered a new router that i'll use in N only 5GHz to reduce issues. i'm gonna try it in a few days when it arrives.
