how can i get my old gamertag back?

I know this might sound silly but are there anyway to get old gamertag back? My little brother plays on my phone sometimes and about couple months ago somehow he accidentally changed my xbox gamertag and since then im trying to contact xbox but i cant
idk why but i guess we cant talk to an agent anymore

So anyone knows if theres anyway to get my old gamertag back or to contact one of xbox agents?

Thanks for coming to the Xbox Forums. As of the
new update, you will not be able to change a gamer tag back to over 12 characters long. There would be no way of getting the old one back. Even support are unable to change a gamer tag. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.

Try xbox support. Youll have to remember email and all that good stuff.

You should be able to change it back by going into your profile and selecting customize profile->click on your gammer tag-> enter in your new one and if its not taken by too many people you should be able to get it back unfortunately you will have to pay
10 dollars to change it because you only get one free name change

i suggest if you lie it see if you can use it or some variation with numbers of course. It was officially changes so change it back and hopefully it wasn't taken by someone else if it is not original chances are it will most likely be taken
