This is what they say :

For further assistance with your account settings, you can contact Microsoft Customer Support directly and they will be happy to assist you. Please specify that you need help with your Microsoft account and not your Minecraft account as this can cause confusion and the representative will redirect you to our support team.



Please note that if the Microsoft account associated with your copy has been closed, deleted, or locked in any way, you will not be able to continue playing the game.
