    HOW CAN I GET MY GAMERTAG AND ACCOUNT BACK WHEN I HAVE ENTERED IT WRONGLY


    I ACCIDENTLY ENTERED THE WRONG GAMERTAG NUMBERS WHILE RESETTING MY XBOX AS IT WAS STUCK ON A GREEN SCREEN. THE XBOX SUPPORT TALKED MY THROUGH IT BUT I DIDNT REALISE UNTIL IT WAS RESET. HOW CAN I GET BACK TO MY OWN GAMERTAG AND ACCOUNT AS ALL MY ADD ONS XBOX LIVE AND PROGRESS HAD DISAPPEARED.

    I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A CALL BACK FOR OVER A WEEK FROM XBOX BUT NO RESPONSE THEY KEEP SAYING THEY ARE HAVING ISSUES. I TRIED CALLING DIRECT BUT IT KEEPS REFERRING ME BACK TO XBOX .COM/HELP

    YES WE DID ALL THAT BUT NOW WE ARE STUCK WITH THIS DIFFERENT GAMERTAG AND ALL ADD ONS AND PROGRESS HAS DISAPPEARED. WE TRIED PUTTING OLD GAMERTAG IN AND THEY ARE STILL GONE. CANT GET ANYTHING FROM SUPPORT THEY SAY THEY HAVE A PROBLEM AND IT HAS BEEN GOING ON THIS PROBLEM FOR OVER A WEEK

    Hi tried all that you said and it reset back to the accidental gamertag and still no games progress or xbox gold. Still no response from xbox support

    we tried to reset the xbox again entering correct gamertag but it wouldnt work . i will come back when my grandaughter is home because she knows more than me. thanyou

    I ask this why you can reset the console, when he asks for the account just put the account you had before it contains your items, games etc.
