How can I get Halo MCC progress from Xbox to Steam?

Unfortunately, campaign progress is not able to be transferred over. I think this is due to the way the different platforms save for the campaign as the MS cloud and Steam cloud are not linked. Multiplayer will carry over as well as the achievements.

does on xbox a lot of the time, but i have had it happen with forza 3 and 4 on pc and halo mcc, so i gave up and bought on steam as steam can verify files and i never get a failed update.

It doesnt help that alot of the games are in vxd format (virtual xbox disc) and basically is an image.

but i think halo mcc is just files but in the encrypted folders, i dont think windows can verify the files if the update fails.

Since it is an Xbox Exclusive I doubt it will come to steam, that being said, Halo MCC is on steam if im not mistaken

works the same way as halo mcc, all save data and game progress carried over for me, including all cheevos that opened all my steam cheevos up.

you sign in to the xbox live servers to play and all game saves for that are carried over. i know i play both via steam and console. its the same with sea of thieves too.

tis a bit daft though, as halo mcc and sea of thieves and other games that are Microsoft published all support cross save from steam to pc and even Xbox.
