    Hi everyone just here to ask a stupid question I guess...

    So recently my Microsoft account that I had for more than 5 years got hacked they changed the mail password removed my phone number I have all the proof to show that. I went into Microsoft support filled up a recovery request filled up everything they needed to prove that it was my account and Microsoft just answered me with

    "Unfortunately, we have determined that the information provided is not sufficient to validate ownership of your account."

    I mean when you have a email that goes from romainsch******** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** its normal i guess and that my account is in Canada but the email got changed in Bulgaria apparently from what the email I got...



    Anyways Microsoft what do I need to do to get my account back.......

    I have bin hacked to. it says that the terms of uses have been updated but when i tip all the information it takes me back to were i started. my mom went to her account and it said her name was Sally may which is not her name. this is the account that got
    hacked. we called Microsoft but they did nothing at all except tell use i got hacked.

    Hey we haven't played in a while but we did well when we did. I just got to get my nephew "skorpion" back on the xbox, he switched to ps3 because he got his xbox account hacked and microsoft didn't help him get it back. Me, my nephew and 1 or 2 others
    would make a great team for league play.

    I've asked Microsoft some questions and haven't gotten a response for over a week

    To make a long story short, I was trying to log into my Microsoft account a month or so back and it kept telling me that the account didn't exist, so I assumed it got hacked. After talking to Microsoft support about it, they emailed me back saying that they can confirm that the account was hacked and that they would try their best to get it back. I waited a bit before recontacting their support team, which after another week I got told that they couldn't get the account anymore so they had to shut it down, however one of the support service people told me that there was a chance to save my xbox account, but not my actual Microsoft account (the files and such), which was fine, so I recontacted their support team and it has been well over a week since I have asked them about this and have gotten no response.

    Hm. That sounds like an odd thing for Xbox Support to tell you. When my account got hacked, they helped me right then and there over the phone. Unfortunately, this is not the correct place for this since this type of account troubleshooting can only be done
    by Microsoft employees in a private manner as to not compromise personal information. Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and explain your situation again.
