    How can I fix this issue, I really need this fixed


    So I have an Xbox which is my brothers old one that I’ve been playing on for the longest, and I’ve tried to change the account many times in the past. Nothing works and I recently got a new Gen and I’m trying to link account because I don’t wanna reset on every game I have, I’ve reached out to Microsoft many times they take me through the same situation each time. “You don’t have enough information” but I’ve almost filled out every box asked. I don’t know his credit card number I’m not even sure he has it anymore. He also doesn’t know the password either

    Is your problem related to the fact that she lost access to that account and wants to get it back? Has she contacted Support and been told that she doesn't have enough information?

    If so, I can mention the following.

    The information I am about to give you is not mine, please keep that in mind.

    It is from the advisor Karl Timmermans, therefore the credits will go to him.

    Unfortunately, there is only one way to recover an email account and that is through the Microsoft account recovery form and if it fails after repeated attempts (up to 2 times a day), the account is effectively lost. There is no way to recover an account in any other way. The form only applies if you have enabled two-factor authentication <NOT> and have successfully logged into the account within the last one-year period.

    I am sorry to hear that.

    This appears to be an issue with the storage unit (HDD).

    Reinstalling the system via a USB drive is the last resort in trying to fix this, you could try it again.

    Since it's a refurbished unit, I don't think you will be able to send it for repairs via the website.

    3. Ensure that the game is up-to-date by checking for any available updates. On your Xbox Series X, go to "My games & apps," select "Full Library," find the game, press the "..." button on your controller, and choose "Manage game and add-ons." From there, you can check for updates and install them if available.

    4. Clearing the persistent storage on your Xbox Series X can help resolve certain issues. Follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    Navigate to the Profile & System tab.
    Select Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games.
    Confirm the action and restart your console.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Kindly perform n extended power cycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
