    How can I fix this connection issue


    So my Xbox one s connects to the wifi and I know this cause it always says “it’s all good” but when I go to try and update my console, play a game or open the YouTube app and it just says check my network connection I’ve tried ever method I’ve seen from YouTube and the web but nothing seems to work I ended up resetting my whole console now I’m stuck at this update part saying “check network connection then try again” when I obviously seen the “it’s all good” message when I connect to my wifi im to the point to where I’m just gonna throw the damn thing away. Oh and I also tried a lan cable and it still says the same thing..

    It means it's your network connection, Joseph. You may need to reach out to your Internet Service Provider and have them OPEN these ports.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Kindly perform n extended power cycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
