How can I fix the split screen glitch on the YouTube app on my Xbox?

At random points in videos the screen will split with the top half glitching/skipping while the bottom continues the video. There is a different issue also where instead the whole screen glitches/skips while still being able to here the video’s audio in the background. Skipping back the video will fix it up until it reaches where it started to glitch and proceed to do it again. Skipping forward usually doesn’t work or I have to skip a chunk of the video for it to go away. I’ve already tried restarting my console, router, and I’ve also tried uninstalling the app but nothing seems to fix it.

Turn off your console and unplug the power cord to ensure the console is completely turned off. Wait 30 seconds and then plug the power cord back in. Click and hold the Pair button and Eject button on the console, then click the Xbox  button on the console.

My friend wasn't trying to glitch anything.

We played some 2 player online splitscreen then decided to play 4 player local splitscreen. After that we noticed he was deranked.

If there is a bug with split screen that causes deranks it needs to be fixed ASAP

It’s 8/09/2023 and this screen glitch on the YouTube app for XBOX ONE still hasn’t been resolved. What gives?

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I understand that you have resolved this YouTube graphical error with a power cycle, but would like a different solution.

A power cycle on your console does fix issues like this. Any app troubleshooting starts with a power cycle and reinstalling the app. I think you did well here to fix the issue. There's nothing else to recommend since it seems to be working. Feel free to
come back here to keep us updated if the issue returns.

i have easily sent over 100 reports on xbox insider, this has been a problem for a long time and no ones doing anything about it.
