You will need to use an alternative method to sign in to your account and then immediately turn off two-factor authentication, or assign a new/additional two-factor authentication mechanism using your actual phone.

When you set up two-factor authentication you may have been given a set of one-time codes that you were supposed to save somewhere safe. Now is the time to use one of those codes in place of your authenticator code. That should let you into your account.

If you don’t have those codes, then the “alternate method” is nothing more than the standard additional steps required to perform account recovery. It generally involves sending confirmation email to an alternate email address or using Microsoft account recovery code.

If you haven’t set an alternative email address or don't have any account code with you, then it’s conceivable that you will lose access to your account.

What exactly is your Xbox console model? When did this issue start to occur?

Try to power cycle your console to clear the system cache. Press and hold Xbox's power button for 10 sec until it turns off. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

Please do the same on your router. Unplug it for at least a minute before turning it back on.

- Use your router's MAC address
