How can I fix that Xbox finally shows what game I'm playing.

Thank you for sharing your concern here in Xbox Community Forum and we hope that all is well.

Depending on how you configure activity settings for PC games for your Xbox profile, Xbox lets you manage the visibility of your activity on the Xbox network. You have the option to make visible other PC games you play, too—even games that don’t connect to the Xbox network.

Configure activity settings for PC games not enabled for the Xbox network:

1. On Windows 10/11, press the Windows logo key + G to open Xbox Game Bar. (Alternately, this can be done in the Xbox app for Windows.)
   
2. Go to Settings > Accounts and sign in if you’re not signed in already.
   
3. See the section “Others can see your PC game activity.”
   
4. Choose an option:
   
   • Block: When blocked, no one else will see which non-Xbox games you’re playing, and Microsoft will not collect data about your use of them.
     
   • Allow: When allowed, Microsoft will collect your PC game activity to determine when you’re online, what games you play, and to customize your Xbox experience.
     

Either way, games that connect to the Xbox network will still appear in your online status, based on your Xbox profile setting for Others can see if you’re online (above).

I'm really excited I remember play the original games, I can finally show my fiancee what I've been raving on about lol

I'm asking how to hide what game you are Currently playing, not the game history. You know how it shows what game's people are currently playing on your friends list? I want to make it so it does not show what game I am playing.

My son has had this problem with this Gears.. we took the game back 4 times and finally bought it at another retailer.. same problem. He has a new xbox bought last year for christmas... strangely the game will play on his older one.. so I'm not sure what
to do or how to fix it..
