    How can i fix my xbox controller it wont turn on.


    It worked fine until i shut the xbox down and did something else for about 3 hours and now it wont turn on.

    I have changed to new batteries and changed do a diffrent batterypack.

    I have also tried and plug in a usb cable but nothing works.

    I have checked and cleaned the prongs.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    If it's still not turning on even with plugging in directly on your Xbox it may mean that the controller may need to be repaired/replaced.

    Do you have a PC or Laptop where you can try and plug in the controller to check if it will work?

    Im actually still having this issue on my xbox elite. After a period in idle (usually 24hrs) my controller and xbox IR remote wont turn on the console. I have to turn it on at the console. Once turned on my remote and controller may work in menus and other
    times it wont at all. Only a powercycle fixes it. Any ideas?
