How can I fix my blacking out and lag

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: If there is an external hard drive connected to your console now, please turn off your console and then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on your console without it and try playing any game and see if it plays fine.

Solution 3: Kindly check if your console has a pending system update that you need to install.

Make sure your console is connected to the internet, and then press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Settings.

Select System > Updates & downloads.

Under "Updates", you'll see: Console update available. Select this button to begin your update.

I'm not getting any "lag-black screen-lag-black screen" issues, but that description is a bit vague.

Are you sure it's not your internet connection? Your machine is more than enough to run an old game like CS at fast frame rate.

My connection is pretty bad to begin with, but I don't see how I can have lag free games on Black Ops and then everything goes bad on MW2.

i was hoping that would fix the lag i get but when playing my battlefiled 4 beta and even battlefield 3 and call of duty black ops 2 ever since i got this new modem/router the net is slower and i get lag i looked it up yesterday and i found a page on here
on how to open ports with the router i have i did wat it said but im still geting the lag
