    How can I fix a launching problem in Xbox app


    I can’t launch any games that is installed on folders I manually created, but the games that’s is only allow to download to windowsapp folder launches fine, could this be the my folder permission problem? That’s keeping Xbox app from launching the game?

    I’ve got three agents to help me, they’ve tried system file check, update, reinstall gaming services, reinstalling game, reinstalling Xbox app, check if both the store and Xbox app are login with the same email, changing installation location.

    I’ve also done every solution on the Xbox support web on “game not launching” section

    I’ve tried EVERYTHING, like can someone who knows TELL me what is wrong.?

    Currently it's now two days since I started having the problem and after trying pretty much every solution, for some there just seems to be no fix.

    Really do not understand how the game can launch perfectly fine on steam but not xbox app. It's a joke.

    Ok, I was launching from the Microsoft Store. Thus, launching the Xbox Companion App, signing out of Account A, in to Account B, fixed the problem.

    I think that I have managed to fix the issue. Launching games through the xbox console companion app (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/console-companion-app), rather than the xbox game pass beta, seems to fix the problem.

    Are you enrolled on the Xbox Alpha dashboard for the Xbox One? Alpha users are experiencing multiple issues with various apps. Clearing the save data on a few other apps that won't launch sometimes fixes this problem if you aren't enrolled in any dashboard previews.

    There is also a problem with the 360 version of the Netflix app recently, although I'm not sure what is causing it. You can try clearing the cache on the internal HDD as well - this solves many problems with apps failing to launch on 360.
