How can i find the email i used when i connected an account to Minecraft?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to recover an account with just a nickname/gamertag, as it is public information.

I had a me.com (iCloud) account when I first created my Minecraft account. I migrated using that email. Now when I log in to Minecraft using that email, I get my son's Xbox profile. Strangely, when I go to the account management webpage, I see that an entirely different email address (an outlook.com email) is the one connected to that account.

I am unable to find a confirmation email regarding the migration. I know we both migrated, because we were playing the game regularly after the migration was required.

A few years ago, my brother and I bought Minecraft together using my email, and he has since earned a lot of achievements in the game. We are now hoping to each get our own accounts, but since he has a significantly higher number of hours and achievements in the game, we'd both prefer if he kept this Minecraft account. However, I'm finding that it looks like in order to do this, I'd have to switch my email within Microsoft to his email. But he already has a Microsoft account, and I don't want to lose mine. I need to basically find a way to migrate our Minecraft account to his existing Microsoft account so that I can buy a new Minecraft account to connect to my Microsoft account. Is there a way to do this? If so, how?

Unfortunately there isnt a way to do this. The minecraft account is the Microsoft account and vice versa.

As you don't remember the account email used to migrate the account, I can advise you fill the account recovery form, in that way you're going to submit a ticket with Microsoft account recovery team https://account.live.com/acsr

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.
