How can I find out if my child had access to a friend's xbox account?

If he has added a friends profile to the console.. (assuming you have Xbox One) you can view that by pressing the Xbox guide button on the controller, pressing the Left Bumper button to navigate to the sign in menu on the far left and selecting switch profile..
it its on the console it will show there.

If accessed from a browser, there maybe signs of that in the internet browser history. Also if he uses a different account than his own to make a purchase, that purchase wouldnt be applied to his account, it would apply to the friends account it was purchased
on so would show up in Purchase History on that account at http://account.microsoft.com

I found a very frustrating work-around, but still want to know how this is *supposed* to work.

I had to log in to my account on xbox, change their settings, then log into each of their pages on a PC browser to accept the friend request as them. Then I had to change the settings on each account using my xbox account again.

Is there no way to manage their settings/friend requests from either the PC or Xbox (but not both...) without having to log into two devices with three accounts like this??

All the forum and help entries I can find say the parent account will need to approve all child friend requests, but I cannot find anything at all about *how* to actually do this.

So there is no point to XBox's child limitations if you can play the game with the child account. I am trying to allow my kids to broadcast a twitch feed, but I can't get access to change the permissions for their account. Even when I include him in my family,
and set his settings, in his settings they show the opposite!?!? This Child account control is complete garbage, and XBox has no business telling me how I can allow my child to access or display information! If I had known any of this I would have just set
up the account as an adult. As it is now, he has to wipe out his gamerscore and achievements and start over!? This is RIDICULOUS and OVERCONTROLLING [Mod Removed]!
