how can i download my games faster again like before i use to have over 200+mbps and it...

still dont download any faster than 20 Mbps, if i was on my Series X, usually downloads games over 100 Mbps at least, and I have a 200 Mbps with ethernet speed

I have exactly the same issue! On my original xbox one I used to get over 200 mbps download speeds, but on my xbox one x I barely get 2 mbps. However I do not experience any lag. I also had some problems when trying to download online games - download speeds
would from very low to very high in a matter of seconds.

I have the digital version of modern warfare and it's taking forever to download a update I currently have 200 to 700 kbps but my internet isn't that bad I have 100 mbps up and down I can download something else and it down loads from 90 to 120
mbps it want download faster I tried pausing restarting my xbox if any one have a fix pleas help its cable plugged into my xbox as well

Be sure to have the option on in your settings, for your storage to remain on after shut down and start the download and shut down like normal. This should help😊👍

Thanks for your help, Ricardo. Before modifying the registry I just googled a bit and came to know this issue was probably with my region's Xbox server. So I just turned on my VPN and the download resumed again.

Even the latest Halo patch download was quite slow like in KBPS while my internet can support up to 200 Mbps. So it's definitely the India Xbox server, not sure how to raise this concern with the Microsoft Xbox team. As I can't use my VPN for this kind of activity. It will cost multiple times my Xbox game pass subscription.

I have this issue a lot of the time too, but I don't know why.

I have a 220 Mbps connection and can hit that speed at any time of the day in a speed test. On PSN I can get about 100 Mbps via wireless and the speed is fairly consistent. On Steam I can hit around 200 Mbps and again, it's pretty consistent. However, on
Live the speed is all over the place and never goes above 70 Mbps, but is often trickling along at 20-30 Mbps. Often the download will stop and start, or jump up to 70 Mbps for a short time, then down to sub-10 Mbps. It's all over the place.

My console is wired to the router. I've done factory resets, reset the router, tried a different socket on the router and a different Ethernet cable. Nothing makes any difference.
