    How can I do a repair fee to fix my controller if I don’t have a receipt?


    My Elite Series 2 controller is acting weird because when I try to click my right thumb stick down, it doesn’t click, but my left thumb stick clicks perfectly fine when you click it down. I don’t know if I broke it and need a new one, or if I could get it fixed.

    I'm afraid repair fees are non-refundable but I believe you can still repair the controller free of charge. Have you checked the warranty status of this controller on the device page?

    Well some representative said I can get it for free with thr receipt due to it being their fault and due to customer rights.

    But then someone else said that that’s not a thing and I can’t even get it repaired with Microsoft for a fee

    Right analog stick won't go left.

    If you controller is still in the 90day warranty period you can get it repaired for free, if it's not you can get it repaired at a fee, but this can be close to the price of a new controller so I just suggest buying a new one.

    Only Elite 2 controllers can be shipped to Microsoft out of warranty and paying a fee for repair. In your case, I would take it to a local shop for repair.
