Hi there, my name is Gerardo, and I'm an Xbox player, just like you. I'll be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

You can use compressed air through the vents of your console to clean any excess dust that may be on the fan or inside it. Just make sure to keep the fan fixed in place with something to prevent it from spinning or moving while using compressed air, and also do it from a considerable distance, there's no need to do it too close to the vents, at least do it 15 cm away.

Additionally, I recommend taking a look at the following link, where they provide more tips on how to clean your console and its accessories:

I hope this helps and if you have further questions please let me know.

    Best regards.

Thank you for your response. However,I don't have that screwdriver to dismantle and clean it.Are there any ways to clean under it without taking it apart?Because the only known place I know of to buy that is ebay, and my parents are the freakin' ebay police.I
know how to take it apart, I simply just don't have the correct tools.

    Hi ArtisticToxinzz,

Unfortunately there is not much you can do to fix this problem, other than just purchasing a new one. You can try taking some compressed air and cleaning the dust out the best you can. If it's overheating quickly, it's probably because dust is clogging up
the fan. It is possible to take it apart to clean it more in depth, but I do not advise it.
