How can I change my Xbox account’s email?

So I want to change the email address on my Xbox account. Currently, I am using a relative’s email account for my Xbox account due to previous circumstances, but now want to change that email to my own email. How can I do that?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to change the email associated with your Xbox account. You have only two alternatives. The first is to try to regain access to your email, while the second is to create a new account with a new email. To regain access to your email, you should fill out the recovery form. In this form, you will be asked for various information that only the owner can know. The more information you provide, the more likely you are to recover your account.
